Abia State government : Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu’s aids clears the air around the controversy of kneeling down in church with pillows

Common sense should always guide us

I saw this first picture online as posted by sundry persons with all kinds of insinuation. Permit me to state as follows, to guide those who may have been misled by folks who refused to kick in common sense before typing what ever they wish to type

  1. Neither Governor Okezie Ikpeazu nor any of his aides attended the Fathers Day program of St Paul Presbyterian Church Ogbor Hill Aba with any pillow on Sunday.
  2. The Governor was directed by the minister in charge to kneel down for prayers and one of the elders of the church, specifically Elder Obasi Orji, brought the pillow out and directed the Governor to kneel there. He humbly obeyed.
  3. The same pillow is given to couples who are wedding in that particular Church, St Paul Presbyterian Church Ogbor Hill Aba, when they are being prayed for.
  4. Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has attended many Church programs where he knelt, like every other Christian, to pray and be prayed for by the Church. (See few pictures)

Please read Mathew 7:1-2 and 1 Corinthians 13:9-12 (KJV) for further spiritual insight.
