The former governor of Imo State , Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON was in Ndianiche-Uno, Arondizuogu in Ideato North LGA of Imo State to pay the last respect to Emeritus Prof. Sir. Obioha Chima Nwana.
Rt. Hon. Ihedioha who noted that the late Professor was his personal friend, described him as an elderstateman and a shining star for the people of Ideato nation and Imo State in general.
He went on to describe the late Professor Nwana as an educational colossus whose death is a huge loss to Imo State and the nation at large while urging his children to emulate the footsteps of such a great icon as their father. The late Professor was survived by five Children and a host of others among whom is Barr. Chima Nwana (Emeritus Deputy Chief of Staff, Imo State Government)
Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Prince Engr. Arthur Eze, former First Lady of Nigeria, Dame Prof. Mrs. Nnamdi Azikiwe, National Chairman of the PDP Prince Uche Secondus represented by Dr. Ibrahim Umar, Senator Osita Izunaso, Rt. Hon. Jones Onyereri, members of the Rebuild Imo Administration led by Barr. Uche Onyeaguocha and Chief Chris Okewulonu, members of the State Executive Council of IMO PDP led by Hon. Nze Ray Emeaña, among other dignitaries were in attendance.
